Throw Some Shapes With Your Root Veg

Saved in:-   Raw Food Kitchen Equipment

My preferred spiraliser, for making spaghetti or noodles from root veg, is one that I bought a few years back, called a Spirooli. Everyone that sees the thick long strands of courgette pasta that come from it fall it love with it and want to know where they can buy one.

Unfortunately they stopped making them a while ago and until recently I was only aware of more expensive professional versions

That was until someone told me about the Lurch Spirali, which looks exactly like my Spirooli (where do they get these names from?). I can totally recommend this product which, for the price, will make your creations so much more exciting.

Here’s a recipe to get you started.

I also have a Lurch spiralizer and LOVE.IT. Mine looks different than the one pictured but it’s so easy to use and makes the most perfect noodles. Now I’ll have to go check our your recipes which no doubt are amazing. :)

You can often find them in Lidl or Aldi on ‘kitchen stuff’ weeks… I got mine there about 3 years ago, and its still going. They usually cost less than £10 :-)

I have the Joyce Chen Spiral Slicer – I just bought it a few weeks ago and love it. It’s totally affordable too – mine was only $20. I wish I would have gotten it a long time ago.

Also got an ice cream maker at the same time….so now I’m into making Vice Cream :)

You can still get Spirooli’s in the states. They are great and I sell them every time I demo with them.
