It was somehow comforting to read this entry and know that we face the same scenerios in different parts of the country. Having first experienced the raw food movement in California this year, I found the tranistion back home difficult- not due to the food but the fact that the concept seemed so alien to others. It gave me strength to know that you are dealing with the same issues and is especially helpful to me that we are of a similar age- as it reminds me that the UK does have the same potential that the US held for meeting people and socialising.
