Welcome To My New Blog Design

Saved in:-   General

New Life Hello! Whether you’re been directed here from my previous blog, or if you’re and first time visitor, it’s with great excitement that I welcome you to the newly designed therawchefblog.com. What other changes have been made? And what’s in it for you? The first thing to say is that all previous posts and comments from the other site have been transferred over, so everything I’ve written since October 2005 is here and now searchable! You’ll notice a new links section at the bottom, along with my Flickr photostream and some of the most recent comments people have made. Over on the right you will see the new ‘Raw Scoop’ section where I will post various raw food news from across the world. Also on the right you’ll see my new eZine sign-up that will be published once every 2 weeks on a Thursday. More on that in my next post! Of course there’s still email and RSS sign-up options here so you’ll be able subscribe to receive notification of when I write something new on this blog. If you were subscribed to the old site there’s no need to subscribe again, it’s already done for you.
offering my ebooks, services and a whole host of free stuff for you.
Right at the bottom of the sidebar you’ll see a link to my main site which, it seems, has been ‘coming soon’ for a long time! :-) Well the good news is that I’m working with a very talented designer to get my site up as soon as possible, offering my ebooks, services and a whole host of free stuff for you.
a time of personal growth and change for me too.
The timing of all this new activity and the rebirth of my blog has come at just the right time, a time that coincides with a time of personal growth and change for me too. I’m really excited to have you along and, hopefully, sharing your own personal journey at the same time. Thanks again for visiting, and remember you can get updates from this blog automatically by using the sign-up box in the top right hand corner or clicking on the orange RSS button.

    Hi Russell,

Just a quick message to say that the new blog looks excellent and I can’t wait to see what the raw chef has in store for us over the next few months!

Looking foward to keeping you company on your new journey.

Russell, Website is looking good, can’t wait to get a hold of your eBooks. Your food looks so good, I’ve been eating with my eyes since coming to your site.

Quick question. Do you know what happened to The Plant in NYC? I went to NYC about 3 weeks ago to do the Raw Food circuit, and The Plant was on my list of places to see, along with a lot of other places, and it seems it’s longer open. As is any of the Blue/Green Organic places.

I’ve seen that you have mention The Plant in some of your recipes, so I was wondering if you knew anything.

    Peace, James

    Hey Russell,

Great work! I just love the new look of your blog! It all feels so fresh and bright.

Looking forward to your new main site!

BTW, the big green leaf beside the comment box is blocing my view as I’m typing. LOL Just gotta have blind faith there’s no typo errors… he he

RawDaddy – The Plant closed down along with all the Blue Green cafes, but the good news is that Kristen, his head chef, is now running classes in Manhattan. They can be found at http://www.fromseedgrowup.com

Carmella – Thanks for letting me know, I’ll get that sorted!

hi russell, catching up on your blog. It is inspiring to see how it is going, I remember the first FRESH dinners at Karen’s, now I live in NZ, the raw movement has a way to go here – but lots of fresh foods to be had none the less – namely fresh picked macedemias from my neighbours!
    Love and inspiration
    Susan (toby says hi)

    Hi Susan,

Pickled macs? They sound amazing! I’ll be expecting a jar next time you come home :-)

Those dinners certainly seem like a long time ago now, probably because so much has happened since then!

Great to hear you and Toby are doing well over there.

This is great! I am 23 years at age, graduated from culinary school and live in Southern California. I look forward to going up north to the raw food school. My mantra is “I will be the best raw food chef in the world.”

Found your site, very beautiful, simple. I’m doing a month of cleanse right now. But, your site is so inspiring I can’t wait to try some new Raw recipes. I have forwarded your link to several friends that have always asked how can you stay ‘raw’? I think you are a great advocate representative for making it so appealing. It is the encouragement sometimes needed. Thank You, for all your efforts. Rita.A.W.

Nice site Russell. Can you share who designed the site. I’m looking to set up a blog/website quite soon and looking for a talented designer like yours to help. It would be greatly appreciated. Hope to attend a class with you sometime soon.
