Electrozyme Juice

I like to keep this drink in a mason jar in the fridge and drink it throughout the day. It’ll need shaking every time before you drink it too, which is why the mason jar is so perfect. If you find the wheat grass taste too overpowering, just start with 1/2 oz of it in the juice at first, then work up to it. Or when you drink this juice, do it as a shot, so it’s gone quickly!

    • Hey Jane, I found with my skin issues that it wasn’t just adding a juice or certain ingredients that helped, it was as much about what I left out. Fasting and detoxing were really great for me to then add raw food on to, to get a result.

      • Thanks. I’m trying to do just that. Stress seems to make more skin problems so trying to reduce that. What do you think about supplements?

        • Yes, stress causes lots of problems in all areas. Supplements are only really needed if you’re deficient, which you can find out with a blood test. Otherwise you’re just guessing a lot, unless you try something specific and see results. I’ve not used any supplements that I’ve found were good for skin that made a huge difference on their own.

  1. Thanks this looks unbelievably healthy! Spirulina must be powder. I am constantly trying to heal my stomach, as I went overboard for many years in the morning with coffee on an empty stomach. So my stomach is depleted, cabbage has an enzyme I believe for the stomach? I’m going to make your coconut kefir, that looks unbelievable. I often wonder if coconut water that you buy in a water is bad if it’s processed, after going about 90% raw now I know to only look for fresh ingredients, takes a lot of patience but worth it. It must be better to find coconut water from fresh coconuts? But maybe if you’re not around markets, still okay to find coconut water in bottles.

    • Hey Tim,

Yes, spirulina is a powder 🙂

Cabbage and cabbage juice is great for the stomach. Sauerkraut is especially good.

Raw coconut water straight from the coconut is certainly better than anything packaged, yes.

  2. Hi! Im comparing prices for Spirulina. Do you always pay the same or are you always trying to find the better price? Ive also found it in capsules which are way cheaper but I think youd need alot more which wouldnt be much of a deal. Thank you! .

    • I usually get mine from wherever I can. The main issue for me is the taste. There’s one I can get that’s pretty cheap in bulk, but it’s taste isn’t so great.

I’m surprised the capsules are cheaper – you should definitely be able to find somewhere that the powder is cheaper.

  3. Hello, I am very interested in raw food and thanks to your site I think I’ve just found the solution to my unhealthy eating.
I would like to know how many juices you drink every day and exactly what are their ingredients.
I appreciate your help and thank you very much!

    • Hey Jenny,

Sometimes I don’t have a juice and sometimes I have only juices in a day.

At the moment I’m drinking cabbage, apple, celery and lime, as I feel like I need the cabbage juice for my stomach.

So it really depends, but generally, the more veggie juice you can have, while reducing the fruit juices, the better. Although, if you’re just starting out, just go with what tastes nice to you, and then refine over time when you feel you’re ready.

  4. What would make a good substitute for wheat grass? I am allergic to wheat, it’s not celiacs, it’s itchy hives and swollen tongue allergy.

  7. If you are doing a juice fast for 5 days.  would you use the electrolyte juice only once daily or do you only drink this juice the whole time.  What brand of wheat grass powder do you use (UK) I wonder how much of the nutrients dried powder still contains. I have smelled some of the liquid ones and they are UCK!! not good at all. Thanks ann

    • Hi Ann,  I wouldn’t just drink this juice, I would drink a whole variety of juices.  You can find more info here: http://www.juicefeasting.com/

I don’t use wheatgrass powder, I use fresh juice.

  9. I live in the rural mountains of Costa Rica and have not found fresh wheatgrass…plans to get some seeds and start will be on my trip to TX in December…having said all that I do have powdered wheatgrass and what are your suggestions in using it in a recipe like yours? Thanks for your time in replying.

    • Use it! 🙂  I’m not familiar with using that particular powder but, based on other green powders I’ve used, I would suggest starting with a tablespoon in tis recipe.

        • Who’s James? 🙂

Yes, you can do that if you have a Vitamix or similar. I would start off with small amounts though, to see how your tummy does with it.

          • Don’t blend the wheatgrass! Only drink the juice! Our stomachs can’t digest it and it will give you gas and other terrible things! (We don’t have 3 stomachs like cows have!)

  10. Fruit juices are very effective detoxifiers. They will help in eliminating toxins in our bodies. I believe drinking electrozyme juice for a time really works and improve our health. Is it helpful for those people who want to lose weight?
